Noteworthy
Ohio was the first state to adopt rules approving the IPAL program; it is also one of a small handful of jurisdictions that offer students reimbursement for the AXP enrollment fee and the first (if not the only) state to put into its Code of Conduct a requirement that supervisors respond to requests to review AXP hours.
Ohio Architect and Board Member Douglas L. Steidl, FAIA, of Akron served as AIA president (2004-05) and NAAB president (2008-09).
